Oratoriuul by Adina Spire Adina Spire : Oratoriuul.
Contemporary cinematic compositions.

The contemporary composer "Adina Spire" has often meshed avant-garde and traditional elements, reflecting the multiple aesthetics she has explored during her career.

Oratoriuul is inspired by the Eastern Orthodox Christian liturgy for Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.

It is a combination of pure, a cappella vocal writing and chamber orchestral effects very much connected with gypsy and Jewish popular music, alternating passages of serene sacred music with vocal harmonic clusters.

The Diveevo Monastery in Russia commissioned Oratoriuul for 2010.
