When you choose "Save purchase details" at Magnatune, your web browser is instructed to save all the information from the current purchase in on your computer, in what is called a "web browser cookie". Thus, all your purchase information resides on your computer, not at Magnatune. Magnatune never keeps a copy of your credit card number in its systems, for security and privacy reasons.

If order for "Save purchase details" to work, you must have cookies enabled on your web browser (they're usually enabled by default). Most browsers tend to throw away all cookies when the web browser exits, so your purchase details may not be saved after you exit and restart your web browser.

The next time you make a purchase at Magnatune, the form will be pre-filled with the information from your last purchase. You can change the form fields if you want. If you want to erase the information from memory, change "Save purchase details" to "no" and the information will be erased.
